6. Character: Colorless monoclinic crystalline powder. Vitreous luster. It is insoluble in water (0.241g/100ml water), but soluble in acids, ammonium salts, sodium thiosulfate and glycerol. Slightly soluble in water. Soluble in hydrochloric acid.

7. Usage: It is used as building materials and raw materials for cement. It is also used as a fertilizer in agriculture and can reduce soil alkalinity and improve soil performance. Food-grade can be used as a nutritional supplement (calcium fortification), coagulant, yeast food, dough conditioner, and chelating agent, etc.

8. Packing: It is packed with polythene bag as the inner layer, and plastic woven bag as the outer layer. 500KG net each jumbo bag; 25KG net each small bag.

9. Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry, clean, and ventilated warehouse, kept away from water and moisture during transport, unload with care so as to avoid damaging the bags. Be cautious to keep away from moisture and hot.
