1. Chemical Name: Sodium Citrate Dihydrate
2. Molecular Formula: C6H5Na3O7·2H2O
3. Molecular Weight: 294.10
4. CAS: 6132-04-3
5. EINECS: 201-069-1
6. Character: White granular crystals or white crystalline powder. Stable in air at room temperature, loses crystalline water when heated to 150℃, and decomposes upon further heating. It is insoluble in ethanol but readily soluble in water. The pH value of a 5% aqueous solution is 7.6 to 8.6. It is readily soluble in water and glycerol, slightly soluble in ethanol and ether. Two molecules of water of crystallization are lost at 150℃.
7. Usage: Used as food additives, chromatographic analysis reagents, pH regulators, emulsifying enhancers, etc.
8. Packing: It is packed with polythene bag as the inner layer, and plastic woven bag as the outer layer. 500KG net each jumbo bag; 25KG net each small bag.
9. Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry, clean, and ventilated warehouse, kept away from water and moisture during transport, unload with care so as to avoid damaging the bags. Be cautious to keep away from moisture and hot.
