6. Character: It’s white powder or granules, highly deliquescent in air; it can be used as a desiccant and absorbs carbon dioxide to form potassium bicarbonate. Freely soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is alkaline. Insoluble in ethanol and ethers.

7. Usage: It can be used as a leavening agent, acidity regulator, buffer, gelling aid, water softener, builder and so on.

8. Packing: It is packed with polythene bag as the inner layer, and plastic woven bag as the outer layer. 500KG net each jumbo bag; 25KG net each small bag.

9. Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry, clean, and ventilated warehouse, kept away from water and moisture during transport, unload with care so as to avoid damaging the bags. Be cautious to keep away from moisture and hot.
